"The history of Palma del Río would rest incomplete without the better understanding of the important role played by the convent of Santo Domingo of the Order of Preachers since the 15th century. A religious, educational and cultural institution that left its mark in the town of Palma del Río between 1400 and 1835 [...].
The time has come to deepen in the Dominican legacy in our society and we do it in collaboration with the 7th Congress of Dominican History, organized by the City Counsel of Palma del Río and the Instituto Histórico Provincia de Hispania de la Orden de Predicadores, with the title 'Palma del Río and the Dominicans of the province of Andalucia".
